Tiresias provides individuals and businesses with secure, transparent and timely access to the information we hold about them in our records.
To ensure that every request is handled efficiently and consistently, Tiresias uses standardised application forms and provides clear guidance on the supporting documents required for requests concerning the correction or deletion of data, as well as applicable data retention periods. Information is available through our website, by phone and through the Public Service Office.
Individuals can now also submit their applications online through the Tiresias greek website, making the process simpler and more convenient.
Points of Service
- Online: Individuals and sole traders can submit their applications through the Tiresias website and receive their response by email.
- By email: Send your request to customerservice@tiresias.gr if you represent a business or, as an individual, prefer to submit your request by email.
- In person: Visits to our offices are available by appointment. Appointments can be arranged by calling +30 210 36 76 700, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tiresias responds to requests to exercise rights of access or to provide information via e-mail, provided the conditions listed on our Greek webpage are met.
With regard to applications concerning the supplementation, rectification or erasure of data etc., responses may only be sent via registered post, in order to ensure data confidentiality.
Letters sent via registered post by the company to citizens which are returned or not collected are kept by Tiresias for three (3) months after being returned to sender. Upon the elapse of this period, interested parties may only receive a copy.
More specifically, letters sent via registered post by the company to citizens which concern the provision of detailed data reports to citizens and which are returned or not collected are kept by Tiresias for three (3) months after being returned to sender. Upon the elapse of this period, interested parties must submit a new application in order to receive up-to-date information.
Original supporting documents returned to the company or not collected are kept by Tiresias for ten (10) years from the date the application was submitted.
Response time
The processing time for applications varies depending on the nature of the request and whether any communication and/or checks with the sources of the relevant data are required.
Tiresias responds, on average, within 10 days of receiving your request and, in all cases, within the statutory period of one (1) month. This period may be extended by up to two (2) additional months, taking into account the complexity and number of requests submitted.
Where an extension is necessary, Tiresias will inform you within the applicable deadline, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
