Client Service Office

In accordance with Article 12 of L. 2472/97 any individual can have access to Tiresias's Database in order to be informed of any kind of personal data stored in the system.

In order to provide better services, Tiresias has established a Public Service Office which receives, handles and responds to requests. Legal persons enjoy the same access right as well.

In case an interested party detects an error affecting their credit record, they can submit an application requesting a correction.

In order to ensure maximum data accuracy, Tiresias, in accordance with its Data Processing Regulation (DPR), completes (with an indication such as "paid", "cancelled", etc.) or deletes available data, provided adequate documentation has been produced. For this purpose, Tiresias would like to advise all interested parties, in order to be best served, not to destroy the checks and the bills of exchange that have been paid in due time.

For any transaction with Tiresias , the interested parties must bear in mind that it is necessary to present their ID or passports among any other relevant application and documentation.

Application form regarding data for individual* and legal persons*.

Individuals

The application must be mailed fully completed and signed (the signature's authentication should be certified by a Public Authority), or delivered in person or by an authorized representative of the applicant at the client service office.

Legal Persons

The applicant must either be the company's legal representative as defined in its Articles of Association (for personal companies) part of the Government Gazette (for SAs or Ltd's) for the legalisation of the representatives, or have the certificate of the registration and alterations by the Business Registry, which must be submitted along with the application.The applicant must also follow the instructions given above for individuals.


Completions - Deletions

Detailed information on the retention times can be found at:

  • DFO & MPS: Summarized in the following table
  • CCS: The data are deleted in the following cases
  • TMS: The data are maintained for 5 (five) years
  • IPS: The data are stored without time limitation, unless the declaration of loss/theft has been revoked.

Corrections

Procedure for correction of incorrect data

If an error in the Tiresias records is detected any interested party can request a correction by submitting an application with all necessary documentation, to the Client service Office.


Non appearance of data/ No Access

  • Procedure for non appearance of DFO & MPS data

    Any entity (individual or legal person) who does not wish to have data stored in the Default Financial Obligations System (DFO) & Mortgages and Prenotations to Mortgages System (MPS) can submit an application to the Client Service Office.

    The Application form regarding non-appearance of data for private individual or corporate entity can be downloaded in Microsoft Word format*.

    When the request has been fullfiled, the indication "Does not wish the appearance of data regarding the credit profile" will appear on the record.

  • No Access to CCS data

    Every subject with data in CCS has the right to submit an application to Tiresias forbidding access to their records. The application can be submitted directly to Tiresias or to any bank which will then forward it to Tiresias.

    The application form for individuals or legal persons can be downloaded in Microsoft Word format*.

    Upon satisfaction of their request and until its revocation (if desired by the subject) the following message will appear: "Does not wish access to his/her/its data" will appear on the record.


Passports - IDs

Application form for insertion into the database of data regarding loss/theft of ID card/passport.

Any individual who does not wish to have their application regarding loss/theft of ID card/passport appear on record may submit a relevant application to the Client Service Office.
